Today was a BIG day at the McNitt house! Mr. Bryce decided today was the day he would sleep...all night! It must have been some REALLY good sleep. So good that he learned how to climb out of his crib! That's right my 14 month old climbed out of his crib not once today but twice. At 7ish this morning I heard him waking up so I got up and started getting ready. I was in my bathroom brushing my teeth when I felt a little body grab my legs. As I looked down I saw that chubby little face smiling from ear to ear. I know in his head he was thinking "I won!" My first though was panic. How in the world would he have gotten out of his crib? Someone had to be in the house to let him out. Josh had left for work and Kylie was still sleeping so surly someone had broke in...right? Well, I'm sure that if someone did their first thought wasn't going to be let me go get the kid out of the crib. After my initial panic wore off I called Josh and we both freaked out on the phone. I figured it was a fluke and wouldn't happen again. Nap time proved me wrong. I was in my sew room when I heard a door open. Kylie hadn't taken a nap, she was in her room "resting" so I figured it was her. The pitter patter of feet proved me wrong. I ran around to the gate that keeps my little monster out of my sew room and there he was! That little monkey had done it again! I thought his crib was down all the way but there was another notch it could go down...only about 1.5 inches so we will see!
Well, at least my little guy slept through the night! Congrats Bryce you're a big boy!
