Memorial Day Weekend

We had some fun in the sun for Memorial Day weekend! We made two different trips to the beach and Kylie could not have been happier! After the first trip she said "Thank you for taking Kylie to the beach" about 15 times on the way home! Our weekend was also consumed with lots of family and friends!

Bryce got his first sippy cup and can't get enough of it! What would a day at the beach be without watermelon?

Josh got a kite surfing trainer kite and the guys had a ton of fun trying to get it up. It will be a lot of fun to play with on a day the beach isn't so crowded.

Splish, Splash!

We had a great time today at the Nocatee water park. Thankfully we don't have any pictures of me busting my butt on the kids slide:) Good thing I did'nt take on the 53 ft waterside! The girls and Bryce loved the ice cold water! It was the perfect summer afternoon.

Vegi Delight

For some reason we have never had our own garden. I've always wanted one and this year we finally did it! We planted it two months ago tomorrow and its amazing how fast it has grown. I'm not too surprised though because that garden has gotten a lot of love! Kylie and I water it almost everyday and when Josh gets home from work he always scoops the kids up and heads outside to water all his plants. It won't be too much longer before we have a fridge full of homegrown vegi's. Here is everything we are growing:

green peppers

eggplant

cucumbers

zucchini

squash

tomatoes (lots of them!)

sweet peppers

banana peppers

jalapenos

datil peppers

strawberries

One mistake we made was making our planter too small. Next year we will have two.

We have a vacant lot next to our house and it made the perfect place to plant our garden!

Here we go....

I never thought I would start a blog but here I am! Since we added Mr. Bryce to our family in December it seems like its harder and harder to stay in touch with all our friends and family on a regular basis. I hope that through this blog everyone can keep up with our family and the fast pace my kiddos are growing! Kylie is 2 1/2 and sings her ABC's perfectly but still gets confused counting to 10, I still don't get that one! Bryce is 5 1/2 months and has yet to sleep through the night....who am I kidding he has yet to sleep at all! He is cutting his first tooth right now which is making the sleeping situation even better!
I have lots of ideas for post's and I'm looking forward to what you all think. We planted a garden a few months ago and were just starting to get vegetables that are pickable. Kylie loves to watch everything grow and we have some great pictures of her in her garden! I am about to refinish a step stool for Bryce that was Josh's when he was a kid. I'm super excited about this and I'll definitely post some before and after pictures of it! Snagging a good deal is always at the top of my list so maybe I'll share my deals too! I enjoy cooking so you might get a new recipe here or there too! Basically, you never know what your going to get so ENJOY!!!
