Kylies Bows

I don't know if I have ever brought it up on my blog before but I make Kylies bows:) When Kylie was little I started making her hair bows and turned it into a little online business. Well over 2 years later Kylies Bows is still going strong! As if I don't have enough on my plate with being a stay at home mommy, starting up My Bella Bums and my ebay store, I decided to expand just a little bit. I started a facebook page that you can find here, I hope to list specialty bows. I don't do a lot of specialty bows on ebay because people want to pay near nothing for something that takes a lot of ribbon and a lot of time. So if you have a little girl, niece or granddaughter go over and "like" Kylies Bows on facebook!

I found a new blog that I am totally obsessed with! I'm the kind of person who will make something myself even if it costs more to make it just because I want to make it myself! I love to have a craft to work on and with SamserMommy, I will have plenty of projects! I have already made two things off her blog, the first thing I made was a t-shirt dress for Kylie.

I got the Minnie shirt from Walmart in the juniors section for $7. The fabric was also from walmart and was $1.25. I made a little ruffle at the bottom and used the extra shirt for the neck tie. It was so darn cute! This was her after she had been jumping on the trampoline for 3 hours straight and about to get in the shower!

My second outfit I don't have a picture of yet but I will post it soon!

Kylies first day of school

Kylie started preschool yesterday! She is going on Tuesdays and Thursdays for 1/2 a day. Josh and I both dropped her off in the morning and she was so excited! She didn't even care we were leaving! I thought about her all day and couldn't wait until 12:30 to pick her up to hear about her day! Well, right when I walked in the teacher said "I have something for you to sign." I said "oh no, let me guess...she hit someone!" Yep, I was right and not only once but twice! Part of me was thinking well, at least it was only two times because a year ago it would have been 200 times! We had a nice long talk and I hope she understands that she can't go to school if she hits her friends. Other than that, her day was great! She said they colored, sang, danced and ate lunch.
She goes back tomorrow and I can't wait to see how she does! My baby is growing up!

From the mouth of babes...

Kylie refused to take a nap today so after spending 2 hours in her room she came out and said:
"Good morning Mommy."
"Kylie I'm very upset you didn't take a nap today."
"I'm sorry but I just lost my job."
Now if you don't speak chipmunk you don't know anything about this but for those of you who watch Alvin and The Chipmunks at least 3 times a day know exactly what she is talking about!

I had to contain my laughter on that one!

I'm back!

Wondering where we have been? Well, I've been super busy with My Bella Bums and Kylies Bows. Not to mention I still don't have a camera!! I have borrowed one for the time being but its not my favorite thing to use. I'm still trying to decide if I want to put out all the cash for a SLR camera or if I just want a point and shoot. Anyways, I wanted to give a little update on the fam. We will start with Miss Kylie! She is super excited because she is going to be starting school soon. She is going on Tues & Thurs from 8-12:30. Unfortunately this will cut into her chipmunk time...She is obsessed with Alvin and the Chipmunks and would watch it all day if you would let her. She actually recites lines from the movie. My little girl is going to be 3 in just over a month and I still can't believe it. Maybe it's because I still buy her 12-18 month clothes!

Mr. Bryce is getting so big, so fast! He is pulling himself up on everything and walking to and from anything he can reach to. He loves to say dada but also says mama and nana. If you say no to him he shakes his head "no" back at you. Today he was watching Blues Clues with Kylie and they were singing "No little monkeys jumping on the bed" and every time they said NO, he would shake his head...it was so cute! Bubba #2 is coming in...yes that's right still no top teeth other than Bubba. I still can't believe he is getting all his teeth except his front two. Bryce is sleeping much better these days. When I say much better that means I'm only up about 2 times a night! Sometimes only once but its few and far between. He also loves to eat with his hands and prefers that much more than baby food.

I'm keeping super busy these days between the kids, Kylies Bows and My Bella Bums. My Bella Bums is doing great! We recently placed our second order and can't wait to get in some Christmas items.

Josh is still busy at work and is looking forward to the end of summer as that's when his busy season ends. As always, he has been busy working in the yard and I posted a few pictures that he took.

You know that kid was up to no good!
