We had a few rainy days but other than that the weather was amazing! We woke up in the 60's and warmed up to the upper 80's. The best part is there is hardly any HUMIDITY!!! We spent most of our time lounging in the lake and hanging out at the house. We made our first trip to Chuck E Cheese which was great, well except Chuckie that is! Kylie was scared to death of him. I was so surprised because when we went to Disney in March, she loved Mickey and Minnie! She freaked out and refused to take her picture with him or get with in a 10 foot radius of him!
Bryce finally cut his bottom teeth while we were there! Bubba isn't alone anymore:) For the most part he slept pretty well too, for him that is. My camera broke half way through the trip so I didn't get that great of pictures, which was a bummer. Hopefully I will get a new one soon so I can keep up with the kiddos!
Me, Josh, Jen, Tommy and little Tommy went on a 5 mile hike on the Appalachian trail and it was amazing! It was a tough hike, lots of incline!! Our legs were burning through most of it. It was 2.5 miles to get to this beautiful waterfall and then 2.5 miles back. On the way there we saw a copper head snake and little Tommy got stung by 6 bees and me by 1. When we got to the waterfall it started to sprinkle and then started to pour and didn't stop the whole 2.5 miles back! It made for quite the adventure and personally I'm impressed that we didn't have a major disaster on the way back! We will definitely be doing that again!
