From the mouth of babes...

Christmas morning 6:55 am...
Kylie calling from her room "Mommy.......Mom......(a few minutes later), Mommy....Mom."
Mom calling from her room "Kylie, come out of your room."
Kylie (in a scared voice) "I can't Santa is coming and he will see that I'm not sleeping!"

From the mouth of babes...

Mom "Kylie, stop jumping in Bryces crib."
Kylie "Mom, I was just practicing!"
Mom "Practicing what?"
Kylie "How many jumps I can do."

My niece Addison just turned 2 and had a cute minnie mouse party. I made her this outfit for her party and she looked so stinkin cute! HAPPY BIRTHDAY ADDISON! Aunt Sherry loves you!

Bryces big day!

There is nothing better than a 1st birthday party...well I guess if it's not your kid it's not that great. But this time, it was my kid! I'm still amazed that Bryce is a year old, even though the first 6 months of his life seemed like 6 years! If you know me, you know that Bryce was not the best baby. Ok let's face it, you all know I love him, he was the worst baby! I don't know if I was spoiled rotten with Kylie who came out with a halo (that fell off somewhere around 14 months) or if it was really that bad! Thankfully Brycey Boy took a turn for the better around 6 months. We still have not mastering the sleeping through the night thing but practice makes perfect! Today Bryce is such a loving little guy. He is my snuggler that Kylie never was. He loves to dance and is very good at it! He loves his sister and her dolls, hair brushes and strollers. Climbing is his new dangerous trick and of course getting into the dog bowls! We are so blessed to have him in our life!
Bryce had a great time at his John Deere birthday party. The weather was cold and wet so we had quite a crowd in the house but the good company and food made up for it. We had hot dogs with my delish dog chili, meatballs, minorcan clam chowder, yummy ham and swiss sandwiches smothered in gooey wonderfullness, pb&j (for the kiddos), fruit salad, sweet heat dip and my moms homemade hummus. Never a lack of food at this house! Here are some pics of Bryces big day:

A year in review...

It's hard to believe that Bryce is a year old today. I can't imagine my life without that little nugget! We are so blessed to have a healthy, happy, loving baby. He has completed our family....for now:)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRYCEY!

Ok, So I've been attached to a sewing machine latley! I just have not posted about what I've made so here is some of it:

I made Kylie these pants to wear to the fair. They have cows, chickens, pigs and hens on them.

Bryce is having a John Deere birthday party and I just LOVED this material!

Another pair of pants for Bryce, I'm slightly in love with these and they cost less than $5 to make!

I made a pair of these for Kylie and they were too short so they went to Addison. This was the second pair for Kylie.

These are my new favorite! I love this print, I think she will get a dress out of this for summer also!
I made this cute outfit for Olivia's 2nd birthday party. The shirt has a 2 with a cute flower on it. Kylie also got this skirt:) Addison's is in the works.

Tennessee Thanksgiving

Phew...I'm finally making my Tennessee post. I dread posts with a lot of pictures, they download so slow! Anyways, we had another great trip to Tennessee over the Thanksgiving holiday. We went to a friends Christmas tree farm in North Carolina and cut down our first REAL Christmas tree! I've never had a real tree, ever! We got a beautiful 10 foot tree, strapped that bad boy to the top of the car and toted it back to Florida. We made a full Thanksgiving dinner in the tiny little cabin kitchen and ate outside on the porch because it was a beautiful 65 degrees out. That was our warmest day, most days it was in the 20's or 30's in the mornings and heated up into the 40's or 50's....Burrrrrr. Cold for this Florida girl! Our next trip must be in warmer weather.
I even slipped in a little Black Friday shopping:) I made my sister in law, Jen get up with me at 5 am and go into town. She had never been Black Friday shopping and I never miss it! She said we were going out with all the "crazies"...it didn't take but one store to turn her into a crazy! We had so much fun.
We got to visit with Spring and the kids too! We met in Johnson City for lunch...not long enough! Hopefully we can find some $9.99 flights soon!
I did almost burn down the cabin while we were there too. We had a *minor* fire coming from the oven...only two foot flames. LOL, thank god Tommy was there to save the day, because all I did was do a jumping dance when I saw it!
It was a great trip and here are a few pictures:
